CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION-CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

The 29th EADV Virtual Congress is accredited by the UEMS-EACCME (the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education) for a maximum of 15 European CME credits (ECMEC®s).

CME-CPD Credits

Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of CME credit that has actually been spent in the live educational activity, and after completion of the evaluation feedback.

Credits can only be gained by watching the live streaming programme during the 3 days of the Virtual Congress. One CME credit equals to one attended session (a minimum attendance of 30 minutes per session is required). Parallel sessions with the same start time are not cumulative.

NOTE: Credits are NOT granted by the EADV for watching on demand sessions, subspecialty society meetings, Industry sessions, nor for watching the content after the actual congress dates.

How to receive your CME-CPD Certificate

  1. Follow the live stream during the Congress days (minimum attendance of 30 minutes per session is required)
  2. Enter your profile and complete the online evaluation form 
  3. Download immediately your CME-CPD certificate

Kindly consider that:

-Evaluation forms will be available to complete until 29 November 2020.
-To evaluate sessions and download your certificate, you can access with your log-in details (the same used for MyEADV account) or the details used during the registration process.
-Evaluation data is essential to our statistics and is of considerable help in the choice of future topics and speakers. Your feedback and comments are greatly appreciated.

Conversion of credits

Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/go/internationalcme.
Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Please refer to the national CME-CPD authority in your country of practice for the exchange of CME-CPD credits/points.

Personal Speaker Evaluation Data

Personal evaluation data, collected from the completed evaluation forms, will be automatically sent to the speakers of the live streamed sessions. All data is treated confidentially and is generally available several months after the event.
